Example Meal Planning Guide

The following is an example meal planning guide. **Please note that the following are suggestions and guidelines only and should only be taken as such. Since each pet has its own rate of metabolism, if you find your pet is gaining weight, cut back on their food intake. If you find that they’re losing weight then increase their food intake. When your pet is at an ideal weight, you should be able to easily feel their ribs but not see them.

Please remember to supervise your pets while they eat!
For the following example meal planning guide, we will use a moderately active 20lb adult dog. This dog would need roughly 1/2lb of food per day.

*If your large dog isn’t a gulper, you can also try feeding chicken necks and chicken feet, but as with all food, please supervise your dog!

For the following example meal planning guide, we will use my moderately active 11lb cat. At 11lbs he eats around 1/4lb of food per day, or a 1/8lb of food each meal.
