Hoven Farms was lucky enough to be featured in the film "the luckiest places on earth" which focused on the carbon capture ability of the soil in Alberta.
Peter Byck, a film maker from Colorado, accompanied by soil scientists affiliated with Texas A&M university to study the ability of regenerative grazing practices to take carbon out of the air and store it in the soil. The study was sponsored by Shell as they are investigating ways to use carbon offsets to mitigate their production of fossil fuels.
